Sydney Downing
From the Contra Costa Times:
Sydney Morgan Downing
Sydney Morgan Downing Mar. 3, 2001 Jan. 15, 2008 Resident of Walnut Creek "Princess Sydney" of Walnut Creek is survived by her beloved family, Mother Christine, Father Dwayne, and Brother Drew. Sydney was the adored princess of her grandmother Eloise Butticci and late Grandfather Dennis Butticci. Sydney touched so many lives. She loved art, dancing and fashion and she wore it well! Think of her as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no years. Think of her as living in the hearts of those she touched for nothing loved is ever lost and she was loved so much. We will be celebrating Sydney's everlasting life at a Mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1650 Ygnacio Valley Road, Walnut Creek on Friday January 18, 2008 at 11am. Memorial donations can be made to Comfort for Kids, 3470 Buskirk Avenue, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523. Oak Park Hills Chapel (925) 934-6500
Published in the Contra Costa Times from 1/16/2008 - 1/17/2008.
Sydney's brother, Drew, was a Condor teammate. Sydney was a member of the Condor Baseball Family which many of the Hawks kids were on. Sydney's family was an integral part of the Condor experience. Even though they are no longer with the team the Downing family are certainly in our thoughts and prayers.

1st Practice Of The Season
I'll be posting pictures throughout the season and maybe a video or two. For now I've posted pictures on Flickr which can be found here.
I'm trying to figure out a way to do a slide show inside of this blog instead of having to go to Flickr to see the pictures. So, hopefully things will improve.
You can post comments on this site and if others want to be able to post here, let me know and I can get you setup to add to this site. It's very easy to do, you don't have to be too savy with the internet.
We're looking forward to another great season of baseball!
Oh....and I'll fix the colors....they hurt my eyes too!
